For one of my photography assignments, we were given the task to create a series of images that represent a place, event, or thing relative to a theme. We decided on the theme “distance” in relation to Covid-19. My series of images intended to convey an eerie and haunting atmosphere when conveying distance. Also, one of my images was featured as the cover of the magazine!
The first image depicts four swans sleeping in harmony at a lake. Swans can sleep on both land and water and in this case, these swans began to sleep together with their heads tucked back under a wing. It was a tranquil and still atmosphere when I captured this shot.
