This project involved redesigning a dorm appliance. I wanted to redesign a rice cooker for college students that would ultimately enhance a user’s rice-making experience. There are several inconveniences with small rice cookers as it does not have as many features as larger rice cookers such as a user interface and cup storage…. For my redesign, my goal is to create a compact and user-friendly rice cooker. It will include features such as all-in-one storage for the measuring cup and handle. After many iterations and defining the product, I created renders in real-life environments.
